  1. To browse products within a specific category please select from the Shopping Cart Categories below.
  2. Once you use the "BUY" button for a product you can view the contents with the "Checkout" link above in the "Shopping Cart Summary".
  3. The Shopping Cart Summary will be displayed on every page that you access.
  4. You can remove an item from the "Checkout" at any time and you can return to shopping or complete the checkout process.
  5. Payment can be made by Visa or Mastercard or by Direct Bank Credit to our bank account. If you choose to pay by credit card you will be transferred to our secure server or alternatively you can telephone us with your credit card details.

TERMS OF SERVICE

    • Payment:
      Payment can be made by credit card or direct bank payment. Our bank account is PETMART at Kiwibank account number 38 9004 0482044 02
    • Order Processing:
      All orders received before 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, will be processed and carefully packaged the same day that you order. Orders received on a weekend will be processed on a Monday except orders paid by bank transfer as payment is not received until Tuesday due to the banks not doing weekend transfers until Monday evening.
    • Delivery Charges:
      All orders that are less than 15kg in weight will be couriered via PBT and orders less than 5kg in weight via NZ Post when applicable. Large items and items in excess of 15kg, such as dog kennels, aquariums, large pet cages and large bird cages, large ped beds, will be freighted and the freight charge will be accessed upon receipt of your order. Freight always applies to aquariums no matter what the size or weight. Your order will not be shipped and your credit card will not be charged until we have confirmed the freight charge with you. Our standard subsidized freight rate for orders under $50.00 is $6.00 to North and South Island addresses.
    • Delivery:
      Orders to main centres should arrive within two working days and orders to smaller centres usually take a day or two longer. We will ship from either our North or South Island warehouse depending on your area of residence but in the event of being out of stock in one warehouse we will ship from the other which could mean delivery will take a day or so longer.
    • Exchanges
      We offer a 7 day exchange policy. If you feel that a larger or smaller size would suit your purposes better then return the original to us and we will gladly exchange it for you. There will be a courier charge for the replacement goods.
    • Returns
      Items that are returned to us must be freight paid. Items that you do not wish to be exchanged are subject to a 15% re-stocking charge.
    • Damage
      All items are thoroughly checked before despatch and our couriers and freight contractors cover all items except glass. Upon receipt of your goods do NOT sign for receipt of them until you have checked that they are in good condition. Remove all packaging before signing for them as your signature releases the carrier and they will deny any claim.
    • Problems or Accolades
      Please use the Contact Us link and submit your comments, positive or otherwise, as this will enable us to maintain our high quality standards.
    • Overseas Orders
      Although we specialize in the New Zealand market we are happy to ship small items overseas. Obviously the standard international postage rate will apply and we will advise you of the cost prior to shipping.
